"My son always looks forward to being on the ice with Dave. He is a very patient, positive teacher of the game."
Darren Langhorn, father of Andrew, London Junior Knights Minor Pee-Wee AA
"Dave has been working with my son since day one - over 5 years now. And, personally, I have known Dave for over 25 years. He is sincere, honest, loyal and hard working, as evident by his own hockey career. He is a person of strong moral character and has a high level of integrity - both these qualities follow him on to the ice. The goalies listen to him and work hard for him as he very naturally brings out their best. He is straight forward in his approach and easily understood, even when covering very technical aspects of the position. Dave creates an environment where goalies can work on general or specific skills with focus. The shooters, fellow coaches and Dave devote their complete attention to one thing while on the ice...the goalies. He develops their technique through game-like simulated drills, isolating the skill he is working on.
In my opinion, no coach compares to his knowledge level, experience, skill development and approach. He works hard to deliver a high quality experience for each and every player every time...he genuinely cares and delivers. All things considered, there is no doubt he is the very best! Most of all, my son can't wait to get to the rink to work with Dave and thinks of him every time he's celebrating another success. "
Chris Pearen, Father of Carter, Elgin-Middlesex Chiefs 1999 AAA
