"Dave has been a very positive influence in my success both on and off the ice. If not for Dave's direction and guidance I know I would not be where I am today. I feel extremely fortunate to have had Dave as my coach, and consider Dave to be an excellent mentor for any young person"

ADVANCED

Unless otherwise awarded admission by PHG, the Advanced program is intended for goalies that have mastered the Regular Program and are currently playing at the AA/AAA level.

The intention of the Advanced Program is to take the goalie’s game to the next level by building upon already established technical skills. The implementation of more challenging and game specific drills will improve the goalie’s ability to read correctly and react accordingly to various game situations. Focus will be placed on the post save response, positioning while down and building a stronger positional play.

Off the ice, dry land training for the Advanced Group will be conducted by the Powerplay Training Centre and guest speakers will be on hand to provide the goalie with the latest information available to assist in his/her development.

The Advanced Program offers a 3:1 Student-Instructor ratio.
